Job Description In this compelling leadership position, you will lead efforts to develop and implement strategic plans for assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as work with leadership to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise, and understand business objectives. Direct the team responsible for determining business areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise, and assist leadership with developing a process to identify threats.
Direct team efforts to evaluate the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
Oversee information monitoring and processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis, and may assist with implementing updates and changes to the process.
Direct efforts to document resolutions and control guidelines.
Drive implementation of business strategies that will drive success in the face of shifting consumer behaviors and regulations.
Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experience
8 years of risk, audit or regulatory experience
Experience leading and managing teams
Experience in pricing strategy/policy or/and Home Price forecast, and loan loss allowance to support risk oversight activities
Experience in portfolio risk and performance analytics
Experience directing a team responsible for providing independent assessment of pricing or/and financials
Experience providing ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) opinion on portfolio performance for both acquisition and book.
Desired Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
Experience in the financial services sector or mortgage industry, preferably Single Family
Experience in Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) and Credit Risk Transfer (CRT)
5 years or more of team leadership experience
Experience leading teams in a rapidly evolving environment
Experience influencing and developing relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders in business, risk and regulatory business areas
Experience performing risk assessment or reviewing risk
Experience developing risk measures to quantify risk levels such as key risk indicators (KRIs,) key performance indicators (KPIs,) or early warning indicators (EWIs); must be able to manage loss events and develop or challenge action plans associated with those events
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to a senior management audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
