Leveraging consumer insights and data, you'll own the creation and delivery of multiple high impact strategic initiatives with Humana products and services to optimize membership retention. You'll work with cross-functional partners across product, marketing, sales, member experience and clinical to drive evolution of data driven insights. Throughout the annual business cycle, you will champion retention initiatives and convey new strategies and progress to senior leaders across the enterprise.You will partner with the AVP to set retention specific OKRs and then drive progress with the support of 1-2 consultants/strategists.Key responsibilities include:
Owning the overall Medicare retention strategy spanning product, marketing, sales, and experience
Shaping high quality analyses and deliverables that clearly frame objectives, issues/challenges, and articulate compelling, insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Developing hypothesis to be validated or refined through targeted research and analysis, overseeing industry, competitor, and financial analyses to support retention strategies
Conducting interviews, working sessions, and report-outs with leaders across the company and preparing executive presentations
Managing a portfolio of strategy projects and pilots designed to improve member retention outcomes
Working collaboratively with fellow team members and leaders across the company
Effectively leading and developing junior members of the team

10 or more years of full-time work experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross functional initiatives
Highly collaborative, flexible, team-oriented working style
Ability to quickly build and maintain trust with key business leaders/partners
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analyses
Data-driven mindset; quickly assimilates new information and grasps new concepts; strong financial acumen and ability to synthesize and communicate insights and business performance
Experience developing executive level presentations, building compelling stories to influence change
Ability to think big and bridge the strategic vision with the tactical delivery and drive consensus
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, MPH, PhD, or graduate degree in a management field, with outstanding academic credentials
Prior healthcare industry experience, preferably in the managed care or provider sectors with a solid understanding of Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid
Prior experience in consumer retention
Additional InformationThe Strategy Execution/Advancement Principal can be a remote position.
