Production Support Engineer

NBCUniversal is seeking a dedicated Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic Production Media Engineering group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless on-air productions by supporting all production systems and technology located at Versant Media’s production facility in Washington DC and remote news gathering locations across Washington DC. Partnering with our main production facilities in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and New York, NY supporting all Versant Media’s networks.You will be troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving any technical issues that arise during live broadcasts and production tapings, including video, audio, transmission, and post-production systems. This role is pivotal to Versant Media’s commitment to deliver high-quality news, sports, and entertainment 24/7. You will maintain the integrity of cutting-edge broadcasting technology and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to optimize broadcast workflows in a fast-paced environment.
