Lead Teacher/ Assistant Teacher
is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

Experienced in creating monthly lesson plans to coincide with themes, seasons, holidays, etc.
Follow all centers policies and state regulations
Assist with potty training
Family style dining
Must be organized
punctual and timely each day
Must be able to complete weekly observations on children
Use observations for planning activities
Experience/Skills
Minimum of 1-2 years of professional childcare experience
Must clear full background check
Must pass health screening including Covid Vaccination
Must pass drug and alcohol testing
Strong understanding of child development
CPR/first-aid required
Food Handler Certificate a plus
Education
AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (Lead Teacher)
CDA ( assistant teacher) and must be enrolled in a AA degree program in Early Childhood Education
