Aroma Express is seeking a Full-Time Barista to embody and convey the warmth and friendliness that our brand stands for to our customers.
Key Duties:
- Greeting customers as they enter the coffee shop.
- Taking orders and paying attention to details such as coffee blend preferences, dairy, and sugar ratios.
- Preparing hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, following specific recipes.
- Serving beverages and prepared food items like cookies, pastries, and muffins.
- Operating espresso machines and other brewing equipment to create quality beverages.
- Ensuring consistent drink quality and presentation.
- Providing prompt, friendly customer service and educating customers on the menu and various coffee beans.
- Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards).
- Keeping the work area clean, maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
- Communicating customer feedback to managers.
Qualifications:
- Previous proven work experience as a Barista
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers.
