Looking for a hands-on caregiver to assist our adult son living in Olney. He suffered a Brain Injury in 2015 and is in a minimally conscious state. Your responsibilities will include dressing, getting from bed to wheelchair, working on speech exercises, conversation engagement and companionship. We are looking for a caring and compassionate companion. CNA training a plus but not essential. Part of salary will be paid by a grant program.
This is a part-time position and hours are 10:30am - 6:00pm 2 to 3 days per week.
Must have own reliable transportation. Must live within 25 minutes of Olney. Must like dogs. Non-smoker. Salary $22/hour depending on experience. Some paid training may be involved. Please send phone number and good time to reach you.
