We are looking for a driver who is dedicated and self motivated to work. You will be working 5 days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri) and traveling to NY, NJ, Maryland, Delaware,Richmond and Virginia during different days of the week.
Compensation: $950/week
Qualifications:
1. A standard driver’s license with clean driving record is a must.
2. Previous driving experience can be beneficial. Experience with forklifts or other warehouse equipment may be required.
Skills:
1. Proficient in operating and maneuvering various types of vehicles. Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
2. Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
3. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as the job often involves loading and unloading goods. Good stamina and physical health.
4. Good verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and coworkers.
5. Ensuring accurate delivery of the correct items to the correct locations. Keeping detailed records of deliveries and inventory.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely loading and unloading goods from vehicles. Ensuring items are properly secured for transport.
2. Transporting goods to various locations as scheduled.
3. Verifying delivery addresses and ensuring timely deliveries.
4. Performing routine checks and maintenance on vehicles. Reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
5. Keeping accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
6. Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
8. Ensuring compliance with all driving and transportation regulations.
