About the Role:
Fiber Optic Termination and Test Technician, the responsibility will be terminating and testing 12-strand, LC/LC, multi-mode, indoor-rated fiber optic cables. Expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and high performance of internal network connections, according to client specs.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate Termination: Precisely terminate 12-strand, LC/LC, Multi-mode, indoor-rated fiber cables following industry best practices and standards.
Comprehensive Testing: Conduct testing of terminated fiber optic cables using specialized equipment like OTDRs, power meters, and/or light sources to verify signal integrity and identify any potential issues.
Requirement: Must have proper fiber termination tools to complete the project and valid US drivers license to enter organization
Corning LC Unicam 50UM OM3/OM4 connectors and Fluke Networks Fiber Versiv fiber certifier tool provided
