Busy automotive repair shop MIDAS in North Arlington VA is looking for two motivated individuals to become part of our team, as a Technician and a STATE INSPECTOR. Candidates must be mechanically inclined and experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. Responsibilities include
Diagnose, repair, and quality-check vehicles based on customer concerns
Work on all major automotive systems—engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, A/C, and more
Test-drive vehicles and use professional diagnostic tools and equipment
Communicate clearly with our Service Advisor about vehicle needs and repair time estimates
Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to state and factory standards
Perform Multi-Point Inspections on every vehicle
Keep your workspace neat, safe, and organized
Keep the team updated on any additional issues or changes in diagnosis
Compensation:
Based on experience, base pay plus commission and we offer flat rate pay for technicians too
