Description Robert Half is hiring! We are seeking a Staff Accountant, including Jr Staffs, within the Boca Raton, Florida area. This position works closely and reports to the Accounting Manager and handles all general accounting needs of the Accounting Department. The candidate will be responsible for performing the month end closing activities, such as bank statement reconciliations, G/L reconciliations, preparing journal entries, statement of cash flows, balance sheet and income statement preparation. We are searching for individuals that have experience in:
Month End Close accounting experience
Preparing trial balances
Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
Preparing financial statements
Fixed assets and/or depreciation schedules
Variance analysis and ad-hoc reporting
Reconciling sub-ledger(s) to general ledger account balances
Preparing financial statements
Requirements
The qualifications that we are looking for include:
Accounting degree preferred, not required
Experience working in accounting ERP systems
Proficient Microsoft Excel, technology and computer skills
