Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cocoa Beach, Florida. You will be responsible for handling accounts payable duties in a precise and efficient manner. Your main tasks will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and utilizing different software to maintain meticulous records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Timely processing of invoices and managing the accounts payable ledger Utilize software like Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for accurate data entry and account management Conduct regular check runs and ensure all payments are made in accordance with company policy Maintain precise records of all transactions and prepare reports as needed Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting Use Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and report generation Handle coding invoices and ensure they are allocated to the correct department or project Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in invoices and payments Assist with other accounting projects as needed Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Skilled in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance Experience with Check Runs, including preparation and execution Ability to perform Coding Invoices with high level of precision Proficient in Data Entry, with emphasis on speed and accuracy Familiarity with Invoice Processing, including verification and payment procedures Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Experience with Oracle for database management and operations Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and operations Skilled in using SAP for business operations and customer relations High level of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
