Remote Medical Assistant

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant (Remote) to support psychiatric providers and contribute to patient care through administrative and clinical duties.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with prior authorizations, medication refills, lab coordination, and side effect managementMaintain communication with patients regarding appointments, test results, and medication refillsDocument patient interactions and collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure timely appointmentsRequired QualificationsCompletion of a Medical Assistant program with certification (CMA preferred)Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health or psychiatryKnowledge of medical terminology, prior authorizations, and healthcare administrationProficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and CRM toolsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
