Description We are looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to join a non-profit organization in Deland, Florida on a part-time basis. In this role, you will manage financial transactions and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. You will also play a vital role in grant accounting, financial reporting, and supporting our organization's financial health. Responsibilities: Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements Manage accounts payable and receivable Prepare financial reports and budgets Ensure compliance with financial regulations Support grant management and reporting Coordinate with external auditors Maintain organized financial documentation Utilize skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, QuickBooks, Federal Grant, Government Grants, Grant Accounting, and Grant Management.Requirements Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper. Proven experience with Account Reconciliation. Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations. Skilled in general Bookkeeping practices. Has the ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation. Capable of conducting Month End Close procedures. Has experience with Payroll processing and management. Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a requirement. Experience with Federal Grant accounting and management is essential. Familiarity with Government Grants is a must. Proven skills in Grant Accounting and Grant Management are required.
