Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Doral, Florida. This role is pivotal within our organization, offering the opportunity to lead a team and handle multiple entities. As a Sr. Accountant, your responsibilities will fall within the realms of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management. Responsibilities: Oversee and perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ascertain financial status and identify discrepancies. Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurately recorded. Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative environment. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data processing and financial analysis. Perform bank reconciliations to verify the company's cash position. Close month end accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurately captured. Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting operations. Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the accuracy of financial data. Responsible for the overall financial health and transparency of the company. Requirements Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations. Solid experience with General Ledger maintenance and managing Journal Entries. Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis. Prior experience with Month End Close process and procedures. Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
