Civil Construction Project Manager Wanted
Rock Power Paving, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager (Estimating exp. a plus) to join our project team located in Miami, FL. Founded in 1986, we are a full-service site contractor specializing in commercial construction and road site work. The Project Manager will provide overall administrative and technical direction on one or more projects. This position may have responsibility for specific aspects of construction for the project.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
3 years minimum experience (in civil construction is a plus).
Work independently and exercise discretion in day-to-day activities
Issue RFIs to the General Contractors and Owners for review and approval
Distribute response to all involved parties
Price change orders
Review and approve Subcontractor invoices
Provide updates to Owner on overall project costs as required
Review schedule and identify lead times on material deliveries, critical path activities or delays that may impact overall schedule
Responsible for managing project durations
Update look-ahead schedules provided
Perform monthly schedule updates
Share and manage project expectations and budgets
Enhance organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Prepare MOTs, permit processing with county municipalities
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Procure material pricing from vendors
Prepare cost analysis for materials, equipment, overhead and subcontractor cost
Excellent client-facing skills
Organizational skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize projects according to specifications
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel), time management and analytical skills

Compensation: Salary of $75,000 - $84,000.00 per year (Weekly pay)
