Description We are offering an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team based in Fort Pierce, Florida. This role is integral to our operations and is focused on maintaining the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Our workplace is a dynamic environment where you will work on various functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), and utilize your skills with Oracle, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the contribution margin components. Maintaining and balancing contribution margin subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies. Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitoring daily functions. Monitoring collections and assisting with collection calls. Ensuring all General Ledger (GL) coding is accurate. Maintaining fixed assets and Construction in Progress (CIP) reconciliation. Analyzing and reconciling various general ledger accounts monthly and preparing journal entries. Serving as a technical resource for other departments during budget and forecast preparation. Working with sales and marketing in preparing detailed budgets and forecasts. Gathering and analyzing assumptions to prepare simulated costs for new and current products. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of accounting Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management and Journal Entries is mandatory Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data analysis and report generation Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for accounting operations is a must Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite Technologies is desirable Should have experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to work independently and in a team, maintaining professionalism and a high level of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with various departments A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proven track record of upholding confidentiality and exercising discretion.
