Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in our finance organization, working closely with the Regional Controller and managing the accounting functions. This role is critical to ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and interact effectively with our operating businesses.Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation of GAAP accounting policies and monitor compliance across the accounting team. Manage accounting functions such as accounts payable, payroll, and month-end close. Coordinate the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure timely delivery of audited financial statements and tax audits. Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements on a regular basis. Oversee the consolidation of monthly schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations. Work closely with the Regional and Corporate accounting teams to automate financial reporting and ensure it is accurate and audit-ready. Implement robust monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Assist in integrating acquisitions into our accounting and financial systems. Play a key role in strategic initiatives aimed at improving reporting quality. Ensure cash is managed appropriately with the proper internal controls in place. Help in the preparation of comprehensive annual budget planning.Requirements Proficiency in Sage Intacct software Strong capabilities in Financial Statement Preparation Familiarity with General Ledger operations Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP Experience with GAAP Accounting principles Proficient in Account Reconciliation Experience in Month End Close procedures Skills in Cash Management processesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
