Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Longwood, Florida. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join this team and handle a variety of tasks related to vendor management, invoice processing, expense report auditing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: Accurately set up new vendors, gather necessary documentation, and maintain up-to-date vendor profiles Handle the processing of multi-divisional invoices and expense reports, ensuring their accuracy prior to disbursement Take charge of processing divisional Expense Reports, Telephone, IT related bills, prepaid related invoices, and customer refunds Conduct reconciliations of credit card statements, Fleet Charge Account, PO accrual account, and Vendor Statements on a regular basis Manage check runs and mail all disbursements with appropriate backup in a timely manner Efficiently communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies Review monthly aged payable reports for outstanding credits and take necessary action Coordinate files that need to be sent off-site each year and prepare vendor labels Train the divisional Accounts Payable staff for Purchase Orders, receipts, and Accounts Payable as needed Perform transaction uploads of vendor invoices from IM and prepare reports as requested.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary to ensure accurate financial records. Recent and relevant Accounts Payable (AP) experience. Strong Data Entry skills are needed to input financial data accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in Invoice Processing is required to ensure timely payments and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
