Description We are seeking a Materials and Planning Analyst to join our team located in Medley, Florida. The role will focus on materials and planning within our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Material Masters to meet production schedules and other program and/or internal customer expectations.Responsibilities: Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Planning, and Program Leads to establish and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) Maintain and monitor Part Master data and Product Structure in MRP systems throughout the life cycle of the parts and MBOMs Incorporate changes to the MBOM as specified within approved Engineering Change documents or process allowances Partner with the Master Production Scheduling/Integrated Production Lead and/or Production Control/Manufacturing Engineering to manage effective date to minimize inventory position and reduce residual inventory Define and communicate actions required by other organizations to complete the implementation of Engineering Changes into work-in-process material and/or purchase material Acquire basic understanding in role on application of standards to MBOM data and unique data coding standards required to support various special processes such as outside processing Utilize excellent analytic skills in daily activity to analyze all planning functions, load to MRP appropriately, identify improvement opportunities, and lead a continuous improvement project Review and transactional processing of material master and bill of material requests to ensure appropriateness and quality Participate in problem solving with requestors to resolve differences/conflicts between the requestor needs and existing records or company policies Develop an understanding of the end-to-end supply chain in support of meeting customer needs Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to production planning through MRP/ERP system.Requirements Qualifications:

University degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or operations, or an associate degree with 4 years of experience. In the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with technical and engineering documents.

Experience executing master data in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment, preferentially SAP.

Preferred Skills:

Proven customer focus and prioritization abilities.

Proven initiative in researching issues and discussing potential solutions.

Remarkable attention to detail.

Experience in supply chains, operations, engineering, manufacturing environments.
