Responsible for accurate and timely general ledger entries and ensuring that entries comply with GAAP
Prepare account reconciliations for prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets and various other accounts.
Participate in the month-end close process.
Processing daily accounting tasks, including preparing sales tax documents and updating expense files
Performing financial transactions and post them in the general ledger.
Preparing monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
Coding invoices, setting up new accounts, reconciling accounts, and closing the monthly books
Reconciling bank accounts at least monthly, verifying deposits, and addressing inquiries from banks
Reconciling cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
Managing and maintain lease schedules
Filing tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
Maintaining knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
Other duites as assigned
