Job Title: Welding SupervisorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to manage a team of 25-30 employees in our Welding department. The role includes overseeing sanders, welders, tackers, fitters, and buffers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MIG welding and the ability to inspect both MIG and TIG welds. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, managing workflow and attendance, and collaborating with the production manager and planner/procurement.Responsibilities
Manage a team of 25-30 employees in the Welding department.
Oversee sanders, welders, tackers, fitters, and buffers.
Inspect MIG and TIG welds to ensure quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Manage daily workflow, attendance, and allocation of tasks.
Collaborate with the production manager and planner/procurement to ensure smooth operations.
Pay- 80-100K based on experienceEssential Skills
Experience as a Welder, with a minimum level of MIG welding.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Knowledge of MIG welding and welding inspection.
Experience in aluminum welding, extrusion, and fabrication.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team of 25-30 people.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TIG welding.
Familiarity with fabrication processes.
