My client is currently hiring for a Buyer position with competitive pay and growth opportunity! Job Description:
Reaching out to vendors
Analyze daily purchase component demand from Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other systems as needed from Inventory management system.
Process MRP system driven demand reports.
Process Purchase orders daily per MRP reports or other systems as needed and schedule demand priority. Issue purchase orders consistent with system identified source; utilize best system identified cost and best cost strategies as communicated through management.
Expedite shortages by documenting and escalating actionable solutions.
Coordinate with supplier PO schedule confirmation audits.
Document and report all Open Orders schedules from supplier and align with Open Purchase Order status in ERP system PO records.
Verify current and best supplier lead times; keep MRP updated with the same.
Expedite shortages; escalate and document shortages with daily status with urgency through best possible actionable solutions. Facilitate conference calls to drive solutions.
Qualifications to Apply:
Must have experience in Excel
Must have experience with purchase orders
ERP experience is a plus
