Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and ensure our [vehicles/fleet/heavy equipment] are maintained in excellent working condition. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills, good mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on vehicles or equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters, tires).
Use diagnostic tools, follow technical manuals, create work orders and keep records.
Maintain a clean, safe work area; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or GED required.
Vocational training or certification in automotive or mechanical repairs.
Minimum [2/3/5] years of experience in automotive/Diesel /mechanical repair.
Strong diagnostic skills, ability to use tools and repair manuals.
Ability to lift [50] lbs, stand for extended periods, work in varied environments.
