We are urgently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance and Housekeeper to join our team at Secrets FL Hotel.
Maintenance:
The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of maintenance skills and be prepared to handle a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel. This position requires the ability to work the night shift, with the possibility of rotating shifts in the future. Immediate start required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs including but not limited to:
Plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets and fixing leaks
Basic electrical work like changing light fixtures and troubleshooting minor electrical issues
Drywall repairs and painting
HVAC system maintenance
General upkeep and preventive maintenance tasks
Ensure all tools and equipment are in working order
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or similar role
Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work night shifts and rotate shifts in the future
Must provide your own tools
Housekeeper:
We are pleased to extend an offer of employment to you for the position of Housekeeper at Secrets Hideaway.
Responsibilities:
Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Change linens, make beds, and replenish room supplies.
Vacuum, mop, and dust surfaces.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Provide exceptional service to hotel guests and respond to their requests.
