Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Iron Workers for an immediate opportunity around Orlando, FL!
WEEKLY PAY - LONG TERM - TEMP-TO-HIRE
PAY: $24-$30/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40+ hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:30pm
START DATE: ASAP

Job Description:
As an Iron Worker, you will be responsible for assembling and installing structural and reinforcing iron and steel to form frameworks and support structures. You will work with cranes, rigging equipment, and welding processes to safely and accurately complete all assigned work.
Responsibilities:
Perform rigging and connecting of structural steel components.
Execute SMAW (stick) and FCAW (wire) welding to assemble and secure steel structures.
Install and weld metal decking.
Run and install bridging as required.
Align and secure steel members using bolts, drift pins, or welding equipment.
Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper installation.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years of ironworking experience (structural steel preferred).
Proficient in SMAW and FCAW welding (certifications preferred).
Experience with rigging and connecting steel components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
Must be able to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
PPE Required: Hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and harness.
