Florida LTL Logistics is looking for a highly motivated, self starting individual to join our team.
We have been moving freight all over the country from Florida for over 50 years.
We are a family business, not a huge corporation.
The ideal candidate would be directing our 3 box trucks making pickups and deliveries in the Central FL area.
This person would also learn to direct our warehouse staff to Pick/Pull orders & Load/ Unload trucks.
- Computer proficiency is a must
- Reliability and Punctuality is a must
- Positive "Can Do" attitude is a must
- Being a team player is a must
- Clean license is a must
In short, you would come in, print your info needed for the box truck drivers to get their day going, make sure they get loaded and out the door. Be in the loop of the inbound and outbound freight so the warehouse staff knows what to do and what to plan for. Help where needed at all times. Respond to emails, answer phones, in indoors & outdoors throughout the day.
Every once in a while if the guys are behind, you may have to jump in a box truck and run down the street to grab
freight. You must be ok with doing this.
I don't want someone that i have to babysit. I'm am more than happy to train someone and help integrate you into our processes but I don't need someone who lacks common sense or the ability to see a problem and handle it responsibly.
We do what we have to do to get the job handled day in and day out. Its not a tough job but its not a sit back and relax position either.
