Certified Water/Wastewater Plant Operator II

Position Purpose: The Operator II maintains water/wastewater treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment in water/wastewater treatment facilities to meet permit and operational requirements.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for the safe & efficient operation of the WWTP on all assigned shifts.Provide basic preventive & corrective maintenance as required to keep the plant in compliance at all times during assigned shifts.When required, will provide assistance to the maintenance team in the Distribution System and Operations at the WTP.
