We are a high-end RV Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add another detail technician to our team. We have been in business for 40 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated. We build both Class-C and Class-B motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes cutaway chassis. Everything from fiberglass body fabrication, frame extensions, flooring, cabinet building, upholstery, and even our exterior coach painting is done here on premises.
We specifically are looking for someone to join our Detail Department. In general, this department is responsible for cleaning the interior and washing the exterior of each motorhome once it is completed. On the interior of each coach some duties will include vacuuming/sweeping up dirt and saw dust; wiping all surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and/or pencil marks; cleaning up any leftover debris from the manufacturing process; and removing any tape or component packaging left on installed items. On the exterior of each coach some duties will include a full exterior wash with soap, water, and scrub brush; removing any grease or pencil marks from the manufacturing process; looking for and marking any blemishes in the paint; removing any and all dried compound from the cut/buff procedure; briefly paint touching-up the black trim of the vehicle when necessary; installing exterior badging/stickers.
All tools and personal protective equipment will be provided. Applicant must be regularly familiar with automotive detailing/washing. Applicant must have a good attention to detail and be organized. Applicant must have a good work ethic and be responsible.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm with a 1/2-hour lunch from 11:30 till 12:00pm. Pay will be hourly and depend on applicant's prior experience. Benefits package includes Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Optical Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Major Holidays, and Paid Time Off.
