Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is seeking a Courier to join their dedicated team. As a Courier, you will play a vital role in ensuring our electoral processes accuracy, efficiency, and integrity. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have ability to follow verbal and written instructions, ability to speak, read, and write English, and can work in a team to support the task necessary for the successful execution of the 2024 election.Job Title: CourierLocation: Tampa, FLPay Range: $17/HourHours: Variable (Ability to work weekends and overtime, if required)Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manually load or unload materials into vehicule.
Deliver and retrieve necessary items to/from assigned location.
Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Performs other related duties as required.
Job Qualifications
Possession of a valid and current FL Driver License with no more than 4 points.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to drive gasoline-powered vans and program destinations into a GPS/smartphone device.
Graduation from High School or possession of a GED certificate.
