Day Shift Support Staff

Description:This role is responsible for supporting individuals in need at the shelters. This role is onsite and assisting with anything from checking in, to helping with getting supplies and also the sleeping arrangements. This role will be responsible for also helping people in the midst of being displaced from their homes in a natural disaster so there needs to be a lot of patience, compassion and understanding. This role does offer overtime and is anticipated to go at least 14-30 days at a minimum. Every 30 days the client will review the needs and update us on if there is another 30 day extension. Additional tasks may include filing, paperwork, and providing food to individuals.Skills:Customer service, Data entry, retail customer service, Bilingual, Administrative supportTop Skills Details:Customer service,Data entry,retail customer serviceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:At least 6 months to a year of support to individuals in need, shelter, case management, first responder, etc. are all great experience for this opportunity. Also face to face customer service, working in a restaurant, etc. Skills needed are empathy, compassion and understanding of individuals situation.
