Description We are in the market for a Network Administrator to join our team in the Marketing/PR industry, located in Tampa, Florida. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with identifying security vulnerabilities, ensuring timely service delivery, and maintaining customer information among other responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Identifying and evaluating potential security vulnerabilities and issues Evaluating and implementing remediation alternatives for identified security vulnerabilities Collaborating with colleagues, peers, and managers to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals Ensuring the timely delivery and documentation of services utilizing ticket tracking systems Collaborating with field technicians, network personnel, and carrier provisioning groups regarding service delivery, product management, continuity, and incident resolution Regularly maintaining customer information Assisting with other associated duties as assigned by management. Requirements Proficient in Firewall Technologies with a strong understanding of Fortinet Firewalls and Palo Alto Firewall. Solid experience in managing Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. Demonstrated knowledge in identifying and mitigating Network Vulnerabilities. Background in implementing and maintaining network security measures. Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot network issues and provide appropriate solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proven experience in configuring and maintaining network servers and architecture. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to network administration. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred. Relevant professional certifications such as Network+ or CCNA are advantageous. Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology relevant to network administration. Ability to work flexible hours and on-call as needed. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.
