Sr. AccountantJob DescriptionThe Regional Accountant will be a critical team member who will support workstreams to advance key accounting objectives in the areas assigned. This role involves heavy interaction with the Regional Accounting Team and other internal teams to ensure integrity within the financial statements and accounting consistency across our partners. Key responsibilities include:
supporting day-to-day accounting functions by owning transactional accounting within the assigned area for identified partner companies, ensuring a complete, accurate, and timely monthly close process.
includes areas such as cash application/bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, payroll accounting, fixed assets, prepaids, etc.
performing analytical reviews of partner income statement, balance sheet and cash flows on a monthly basis
developing and maintaining relationships with the regional accounting team
providing outstanding customer service
collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and support on accounting-related inquiries
monitoring adherence to internal company policies, procedures, and controls, and performing other duties as assigned.
Hard Skills - MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Excel Proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
3-5 years of experience in G/L accounting
Analytical capabilities - ability to analyze and present financial statements, reporting, etc.
Supervisory or Lead experience-reviewing work of staff
Soft Skills
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Proactive work ethic - 'stay til the job is complete/look for work and ways to help when your work is done'
