Job Description:
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with our construction projects. This includes reviewing project plans, understanding material and labor requirements, and developing comprehensive estimates that ensure profitability and client satisfaction. Insulated Concrete Form estimating experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Consult with clients, vendors, and project managers to discuss and resolve issues.
Prepare detailed project proposals and submit them to clients or project management.
Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with initial estimates.
Participate in project planning meetings and provide input based on estimates.
Maintain a database of historical costs for reference in future projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role.
Excellent math and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
