Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in the Import/Export industry, based in Weston, Florida. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be tasked with managing and expanding our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content, and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness. Responsibilities: Develop engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Analyze social media data to track performance and optimize strategies. Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that encourages community members to act and builds meaningful connections. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules. Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions. Review competitor information and stay up to date with market trends. Responsible for creative design and working with team members to incorporate trends and adhere to brand style guides. Interact with readers, influencers, and customers daily. Requirements Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role or relevant field. Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva. Experience in creating and curating editorial content for various platforms. Knowledge and understanding of Facebook Insights and Google+. Proven experience in creating effective advertisements for social media platforms. Ability to make data-driven decisions using analytics. Familiarity with best practices in social media marketing and management. Experience in blogging and creating branded content to increase brand awareness. Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field is preferred.
