Description We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with a strong background in Cisco hardware and expertise in routing and switching. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco network devices and be adept at troubleshooting, configuring, and managing complex network systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology.Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Implement and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure efficient network performance.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations.

Perform regular network security assessments and implement measures to safeguard data and infrastructure.

Develop and maintain network documentation, including configuration files, diagrams, and procedures.

Provide technical support and training to internal users regarding network-related issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience working with Cisco hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies is a plus.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
