Overseeing junior accountants and providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring that they are accurate and timely.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, assessing the financial details to improve profitability.
Advising management on tax ramifications of business decisions.
Completing accurate and timely year-end audits.
Ensuring the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements by keeping abreast of the current tax laws and latest finance regulation changes.
Maintaining company's asset ledger and other significant financial files.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of accounting experience.
Mastery of MS Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
Experience with accounting software and databases is a plus.
Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical, numerical, and financial skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work cohesively in a team.
Requirements Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
Demonstrated proficiency in General Ledger management and Journal Entries. Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel. Ability to handle Month End Close tasks efficiently and accurately. Experience with various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks. Familiarity with Department SOP's and ability to adhere to them. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or a similar role in the Accounting department. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors. Strong analytical skills and ability to provide financial reports and forecasts. Ability to handle confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus. Continual learning and hunger for knowledge to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
