As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement projects and initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for managing procurement projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and establishing strong supplier relationships. Your expertise in procurement and project management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness. You will report directly to our procurement Director of Transformation and Resiliency, and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by successfully executing procurement projects, optimizing the supply base, and driving cost savings. You will also contribute to the growth and success of the business by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices in procurement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive resolution of supplier payment and invoice discrepancies for both indirect and direct spend by working with procurement operations and commodity managers.

Support escalation and remediation of critical direct material gaps

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver RCCA’s. Define project scope, requirements, and objectives to deliver systemic solutions Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify supply chain risk Own the management operating system for Procurement, facilitating timely reporting on global initiatives, issues, and risks.

Monitor supplier performance and serve as the conduit between the Chief Procurement Officer and critical suppliers to follow up on actions/escalations and schedule supplier business reviews

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in procurement

Present procurement strategic initiatives to Supply Chain leaders

YOU MUST HAVE

5+ years of experience in procurement or project management

Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices

Excellent organization and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

Professional certifications in procurement or project management

Experience in supplier relationship management

Outstanding written and verbal communication
