Responsibilities – Automotive Technician:
Perform multi-point inspection and diagnose malfunction(s)
Provide an estimate of the time needed for repairs
Repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc., in accordance with dealership standards
Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions
Adhere to company regulations and keep abreast of recalls and updates
Report any damaged or defective equipment to management
Report safety issues to management and ensure a clean working area
Qualifications/Requirements – Automotive Technician:
Automotive Technician experience required
Automotive dealership experience preferred
Import experience or Mitsubishi Certified is a plus!
Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive 'team-player' attitude
Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment
Thrives in a fast-paced team environment
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
