Heavy Equipment Operator

Position Purpose: Responsible for maintaining and operating heavy equipment used in operations, including; skid loaders, backhoes and front end loaders used in industrial settings. Work duties may require minor mechanical maintenance and repairs. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Ability to operate heavy, power-driven equipment to increase efficiency and productivity.Maintain and repair heavy, power-driven equipment.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate site conditions or changes in conditions to management.Ensures the documentation of equipment maintenance history through the use of the CMMS System.Works independent of or with operations and contractors.Possible other duties as assigned.Work Environment:Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and works near moving mechanical parts.Possibility of exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions such as ice and snow.
