Description We are offering an opportunity for a Legal Assistant in the city of Conyers, Georgia. The position is a part of the telecom industry, providing essential support to the U.S. Trade Compliance team. The role involves conducting regulatory and business-related research, data entry, and analysis, among other responsibilities. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct regulatory and business-related research for the U.S. Trade Compliance team Evaluate Certificate of Origin and handle USMCA Solicitations Plan, organize, direct, and monitor implementation of C-TPAT Supplier Questionnaires solicitations Perform data entry and retrieval tasks related to trade reports Assist in U.S. Customs Broker Audits Execute data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting for various Trade related projects Utilize Microsoft Excel at an entry to intermediate level Provide additional support services to the U.S. Trade Compliance team as needed Maintain compliance and uphold data entry standards. Requirements Candidate must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in compliance and legal regulations is necessary. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles is required. Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field. Previous experience in a legal assistant role is preferred.
