Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Fleet Administrator in MARIETTA, Georgia. This role is in the poultry industry and involves managing and optimizing our fleet of vehicles used for poultry distribution and operations. The workplace will revolve around overseeing the day-to-day administrative tasks of the fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Fleet Operations Team.Responsibilities: Oversee the performance of the fleet, including monitoring vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules. Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance and repair services to ensure minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and inspection documentation. Ensure fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental requirements. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation related to fleet performance, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular audits of fleet documentation and processes to identify and address any discrepancies or areas for improvement. Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for vehicle maintenance, repairs, and other fleet-related services. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining high service standards. Monitor and control fleet-related expenditures to stay within the budget. Assist in the coordination of vehicle allocation and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Collaborate with drivers and other team members to address any operational issues or concerns related to fleet vehicles. Support the implementation of new fleet management technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency. Address and resolve any fleet-related inquiries or issues raised by internal stakeholders or external partners. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure smooth and effective fleet operations. Requirements Experience with business systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Proficiency in Cargowise and CRM Knowledge of ERP Solutions and About Time software Familiarity with billing functions and customs procedures Exceptional communication and customer service skills Previous experience in a similar role as a Fleet Administrator is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with others Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
