Plant Purchasing Manager / Head of Purchasing

 Lead Plant purchasing activities (Capex, Services, MRO, …) including negotiation, supplier selection, and supplier developmentMonitoring/Executing capital procurement activities for critical spares and new equipment to ensure continuity of site manufacturing operationsMaintain strong relationships with suppliers, promoting open communication, addressing performance issues, and fostering continuous improvement.Identifying and implementing bundling opportunities and establishing the necessary network with the local purchasing managers of other Gx locationsNegotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with local managed suppliers to secure favorable pricing, delivery, and stocking agreements to meet production and inventory schedules.Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies - Monitor and manage contract renewals and terminationsImplement cost-saving initiatives and track procurement performance; execute an annual cost savings program to meet company KPIs.Maintain a strong ethical approach to procurement, promoting fairness, transparency, and integrity in all procurement activities.Perform day-to-day operational activities including: establishment of purchase orders and outline agreements, expediting of deliveries, resolution of invoice discrepancies/complaints and non-conformanceLeading and developing site Procurement personnel; execute employee development and coaching processes
