This position is responsible for coordinating and controlling the handling and storage of raw materials, finished goods and labels through the warehouse by effectively using available resources.  This position will also ensure accuracy of raw materials, finished goods and label inventories.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow all safety, environmental rules, and regulations applicable to the position. Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements. Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies. Reviews and prepares daily reports and cross-checks for production entry, off shift move sheets, shipments and receipts.Enter inventory adjustments as needed, performs route cause analysis and corrective actions.Manages Inventory levels to reduce old age/hold product and minimize storage. Works closely with receiving supervisor to help monitor inventories and assist as needed. Performs monthly physical inventory reconciliation and prepares/submits monthly reports. Assist logistic manager with inventory and shipping issues. Additional duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor, plant superintendent, or plant managerCompetencies:Effective Communication - Develops and delivers communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.Effective Teambuilding - Active participation in, or creation of, teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.Creative and Innovative Thinking - Develops fresh ideas that provide solutions; creates new and better ways for the organization to be successful.
