Maintenance TechnicianShifts: Open to any shiftPay: 36Location: Villa RicaDescriptionWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Level III Maintenance Technician to join our team in the food production industry. As a Level III Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a challenging position that requires a strong technical skillset and exceptional problem-solving skills.Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and take appropriate corrective actions
Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, sensors, and switches
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and address them proactively
Collaborate with production team to determine maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs
Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance records
Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical maintenance
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
Familiarity with food production equipment and machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Flexibility to work on rotating shifts and weekends
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Proficient in using computer-aided maintenance management systems (CMMS)
