Hawaii Off-Grid is expanding and looking for on incredible individual to join our team!
We are a busy local Design Build firm in Haiku with a focus on sustainability and modern design. We work on a range of projects - both private and public throughout Maui County, Kauai County, and County of Hawaii.
Our ideal candidate will be on island and have a good understanding of local culture and community. We're hoping to find the perfect fit who has desires not only to grow with the company but also enjoys working in person. This is a full time / in person position and remote work is not preferred.
Qualifications & Skills:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- 1 to 2 years of experience in working in an office setting
- 1 to 2 years of customer service
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize workflow and deadlines
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- A problem solver that can think critically
- MAC/Apple proficient
- Proficient with Adobe and other computer programs
- Must have a “can-do” attitude
What we offer:
- Full-time (40 hours a week) in person
- A three-month Probation period
- 13 Paid Holidays a year
- 12 PTO days (available to use after one year with the company)

Expectations / Responsibilities:
- Client Intake / Correspondence
- Invoicing
- Proposal Generation
- Schedule Management
- RFP Submittals, tracking, overall management
- Assisting and supporting Director of Operations with Daily tasks and Principal from time to time.
- Supporting Design Staff with Project management
Responsibilities may grow over time and you will be compensated accordingly.
