Kyo-ya Ohana is seeking an experienced and resourceful Plumber Journeyman to join our team at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel. If you have experience with plumbing systems and are open to a home in hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Location: Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel, Honolulu, HI
Pay Range: $32.49 to $40.61 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with professionalism.
Perform plumbing maintenance and repair work in support of hotel operations.
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, drains, and piping.
Conduct snaking, drain cleaning, and other routine cleanings as required.
Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; request for replacement/fulfillment as needed.
Identify, locate, and operate equipment and utility shut-off valves.
Document all work performed in approved work-order or maintenance systems.
Physical Requirements:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Additional Responsibilities:
Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Qualifications for the Plumber Journeyman include:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Valid Hawaii State issued Journeyman's Plumber license
Valid Driver’s License
At least two (2) years within a hotel maintenance environment preferred.
