As a Sr RDA DRAM Manager you will understand safety guidelines and ensure safety protocol is followed for all RDA and Metrology (RAM) work areas and meeting the priorities in accordance with Technology Development (TD) goals. Maintain, present, and publish area reports and EDL / defect paretos to TD process and integration teams. Ensure real-time communication of defects and failure modes to the relevant engineering groups and collaborate with engineering teams on continuous improvement plans (CIP) and options to allow for faster cycles of learning. Coordinate CIP for each area covering RAM techniques and reporting, equipment availability and efficiency, and request turn-around times. Develop performance plans and goals for personnel within the areas. Coordinate projects related to process improvements/upgrades or equipment improvements/upgrades and drive them to completion. Partner with equipment teams across yield technology to drive innovation of new equipment and techniques as it relates to a specific area or gap. Maintaining high quality and high efficiency while driving 24/7 process development and process integration support. Encourage collaborative efforts to solve problems, improve efficiency, and increase quality. Participate in interviewing and hiring area personnel, both technicians and engineers. Maintain adequate support to the manufacturing sites receiving a transferred process, which includes accurate documentation of all issues identified in TD RAM and providing support to production facilities with personnel (as needed) for training on new part types, processes, and/or equipment. Engage with or direct others to engage with product support groups such as YE/YA Engineering, Probe Engineering, Process Integration, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Development Engineering to resolve unidentified problems impacting yield of a developing process. Keep the SWATs up to date on relevant evaluations or newly developed techniques that can be shared as BKMs to manufacturing RAM at the monthly meeting. Mentor team members toward personal career goals as well as develop future leaders of the group and acting as a role model to the engineering team. Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed. Role will be responsible for activities in TD Boise RDA and Metro team.Experience:Demonstrated ability as a Manager or Sr. Manager in a like role and holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.Required skills:Strong, overall knowledge of TD processing for all technologies. Good inter-area and across Fab communication skills with effective organizational and decision-making abilities. Effective process and equipment knowledge demonstrated by explaining general Fab process flow and equipment theory of operation. Understand process tool redundancy to optimize area performance and efficiency. Able to handle difficult engineering and personnel issues effectively. Demeanor is professional, positive, self-motivated, and creative. Also have effective oral and written communication skills. Familiar with all technologies (NAND, DRAM, etc.) run in TD desired but not required.Other requirements:Possess a shown understanding of current processes and equipment in TD. Possess strong PC and SPC skills. Must meet Micron guidelines for Attendance, Corrective action, career development, etc. for promotions. Most desirable candidates will have a proven background related to one or both of the RAM areas.
