Caldwell Transportation Company Inc. is hiring people to drive a School Bus in the Treasure Valley. This is a part time job where you will drive approx. 2+ hours in the morning, you’re usually home by 9AM. At approx. 2:30PM you will drive 2+ hours in the afternoon, most drivers are done and home by 5PM. Drivers are normally off between 9am and 2 PM each work day. This is the perfect job for young and old including retirees and households with children who won’t need childcare because children of all ages are allowed to ride on the school bus routes with their mother/father/grandpa or grandma.
You don’t have a CDL? no problem, Caldwell Transportation Co. will train and pay you to qualify you for a Commercial Drivers License. They will pay for your CDL (DOT) physical, plus they will also pay you a sign-up bonus of $2,000 to join the company, you read that right, CTC Inc. will pay you a $2,000 sign up bonus plus pay you to train.
Bus Drivers will perform all job responsibilities in a safe manner, which includes that no child is left alone or unsupervised. Provide safe transportation for all students. Provide a sanitary and clean bus. Be available to drive 6:30 am- 9:00 am and 2:30 pm - 4:45 pm.
1. Must have and be willing to obtain and keep current a valid commercial driver license
(CDL) with passenger and school endorsements.
2. Must have or be willing to obtain and keep current DOT physical.
3. Must have and be willing to pre-employment random drug/Alcohol and post-accident
testing.
4. Must be willing to do a criminal history back- ground check. No prior convictions of
child abuse/neglect.
