This role falls within the finance industry, focusing on managing and processing financial transactions. The job function includes recording customer payments, processing vendor invoices, and assisting with monthly financial close processes.Responsibilities: Oversee the recording and reconciliation of customer payments within the financial system Ensure the correct application of payments and resolving discrepancies as they arise Handle the matching, entry, processing, and review of vendor invoices and credits Initiate and process payments for company purchasing cards Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any vendor or invoice issues Conduct three-way match of inventory receipts Utilize relevant software for expense reconciliation and monitoring corporate card transactions Monitor employee expense submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with expense policy Aid in month-end and year-end financial close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Demonstrated ability in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Familiarity with Account Reconciliation processes Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing Proficiency in Data Entry tasks related to accounting Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reports Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Relevant certifications in Accounting or Finance would be an advantage.To apply to this role, please send your resume to Valerie Herron at valerie.herron@roberthalf.c0mRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
