We are a vibrant tax and accounting office seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join us during tax season as a Bookkeeping and Tax Data Entry Assistant. Location:
Chicago – West Loop Office
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with tax return preparation and enter client data accurately.
Organize and process client documents in a timely manner.
Collect signatures and payments from clients.
Maintain filing systems and manage document workflows.
Support general bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (QuickBooks experience is a plus).
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Previous experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or a tax/accounting office is preferred.
